Kapok Tree Wedding

August 4, 2010

Ever been to the Kapok Tree in Clearwater, FL? It is a unique venue full of opportunity. Marquis and Brandi were married there on July 31st. It was a splendid event with lavish clothing, elegant decorations and surroundings and of course delicious food and cake! Their color scheme of Brown and Ivory with accents of Red was presented beautifully in the Florida Room where the ceremony took place. With alternating Brown and Ivory bows and a Red carpet for the wedding party to walk down. The reception was held in the Grand Ballroom where the tables were dressed with Red and White floral centerpieces from J. Baldwin. The whole event really was something to talk about! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Brown.

Weekend Events

July 26, 2010

With the scare of rain this weekend our events all went off without a hitch. One of our outdoor BBQ’s made the move to our Downtown Ballroom to avoid a washout while the other events snuck in their outdoor time before the down pours. Lucky indeed.

Congratulations to Dessirrea and Trevor who were married in our Historic Ballroom last Saturday. They decorated the room beautifully with White and Watermelon colored flowers from J. Baldwin Florals. Their cakes were from Cakes by Design. The wedding cake showed off the simple elegance of the Bride & Groom while the groom’s cake showed the fun loving side. After the ceremony they had a fun dance party with their family and friends. Top 3 pictues.

Another Congratulations to Karla and Andreas who were married at the Powell Crosley Estate on Sunday. The colors of black and white with touches of red were perfect for this intimate outdoor wedding and reception. The gazebo reception area overlooking the water was the ideal backdrop for a memorable day. Bottom 3 pictures.
